Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
I started Lapis Legal in 2023, because after nearly 15 years working inside and leading in-house legal teams at global pharma and biopharma companies, I saw a real gap in the kind of external legal support life sciences teams actually need.
When you’re in-house, you’re juggling high-stakes decisions, tight timelines, and limited resources—often all at once. Traditional law firms bring deep expertise—and many brilliant lawyers I know work in them and there is a place for them. But they're not always built for the pace, complexity, or day-to-day realities of life sciences work. I know—because I’ve been there.
